This guide explains how to use the GPI Oman website and client portal to request services, explore investment opportunities, make payments, upload documents and track the investor journey.

1. Creating a new account
To create an account:
- Select Create account.
- Enter your full name.
- Enter your email address.
- Enter your telephone number with the country code.
- Specify your nationality and country of residence.
- Create a strong password.
- Agree to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
- Enter the verification code sent to you.
- Complete your profile details.
After creating an account, the client receives a unique client number to use in all orders, correspondence and payments.
2. Signing in
To sign in:
- Select Client portal.
- Enter your email address or telephone number.
- Enter your password.
- Enter a verification code if requested.
Do not share your password or verification code with anyone.
If you forget your password, select Forgot password and follow the instructions sent to your registered email address or telephone.
3. Your profile
Through their profile, clients can:
- Update contact details.
- Add company details.
- Specify nationality and country of residence.
- Enter a correspondence address.
- Add shareholder details.
- Upload identity documents.
- Review previous orders.
- View invoices and payments.
- Change their password.
Keep your details accurate and update them whenever anything changes.
4. Selecting a user type
The website may ask you to identify your capacity, for example:
- Individual investor.
- Entrepreneur.
- Local company.
- Foreign company.
- GCC investor.
- Project or investment opportunity owner.
- Developer or real estate company.
- Authorised representative of a client or company.
Selecting the correct capacity helps display suitable services and requirements.
5. Browsing services
Clients can browse services by category, including:
- Company formation.
- Commercial registration.
- Registration of a foreign company branch.
- Company formation in a free or economic zone.
- Licences and approvals.
- Investor visas and residence permits.
- Employee visas and residence permits.
- Family residence.
- Translation, attestation and notarisation.
- Preparing a bank account opening file.
- Post-incorporation operational support.
- Real estate services.
- Investment services.
Each service page explains:

6. Requesting a service
To request a service:
- Sign in to your account.
- Select the required service.
- Read the description and scope.
- Enter the application details.
- Specify the number of investors, activities and additional services.
- Upload the available documents.
- Review the price and fees.
- Agree to the terms.
- Submit the request.
- Wait for confirmation of review, or proceed to payment if the service is ready to purchase.
Service delivery begins only after the order is accepted, payment succeeds and all necessary documents are complete.
7. Company formation packages
Clients can choose a ready-made package or customise their request.
Packages may include:
- Basic start-up package.
- Commercial registration package.
- GCC investor package.
- Company launch and investor residence package.
- Company formation in Sohar Freezone.
- Company formation in the Special Economic Zone at Duqm.
The price may vary according to:
- Company type.
- Commercial registration grade.
- Number of investors.
- Shareholders' nationalities.
- Number of activities.
- Location.
- Required licences.
- Visas and additional services.
8. Required documents
Documents vary by service and may include:
- Passport.
- Identity card or residence permit.
- Personal photograph.
- Shareholder details.
- Power of attorney or authorisation.
- Parent company documents.
- Resolution to open a branch.
- Constitutional documents.
- Birth or marriage certificate.
- Proof of address.
- Description of the activity.
- Business plan or project study.
- Source of funds documents.
- Attested or translated documents.
Documents must be clear, valid and accurate.
9. Uploading documents
To upload a document:
- Open the order.
- Go to Required documents.
- Select the document type.
- Upload the file.
- Check that it is legible.
- Add a note if needed.
- Select Submit for review.
Do not upload unrequested documents or another person's data without their consent.
PDF files or clear images are preferred, subject to the formats accepted by the platform.
10. Document status
One of the following statuses may appear:
- Required: the document has not been uploaded.
- Uploaded: the document has reached the platform.
- Under review: the team is reviewing it.
- Accepted: the document is suitable for the current stage.
- Changes required: an issue must be corrected.
- Expired: a valid copy must be provided.
- Translation or attestation required: the document cannot be used until this step is complete.
- Rejected: the document is unsuitable or incorrect.
11. The quotation
Before paying, review the quotation and make sure it specifies:
- Service name.
- Scope of work.
- GPI Oman fees.
- Estimated government fees.
- Third-party costs.
- Value added tax, where applicable.
- Additional services.
- Total amount.
- Quotation validity period.
- Payment stages.
- Cancellation and refund terms.
If clarification is needed, contact GPI Oman before paying.
12. Electronic payment
To complete payment:
- Open the order or quotation.
- Select Pay now.
- Review the amount details.
- Confirm the service name.
- Read the terms and policies.
- Select the agreement checkbox.
- Choose a payment method.
- Enter payment details on the payment provider's secure page.
- Wait for the transaction result.
- Keep the transaction number and receipt.
Do not close the page or immediately retry if the transaction is shown as processing.
13. Payment statuses
One of the following statuses may appear:
- Successful: payment has been received.
- Processing: the final result has not yet arrived.
- Failed: the transaction was not completed.
- Declined: the bank or payment provider declined the transaction.
- Cancelled: the user cancelled payment before completion.
- Partially refunded: part of the amount has been returned.
- Fully refunded: the full amount due has been returned.
- Under review: the transaction needs additional verification.
If money has been debited but payment is not shown as successful, do not repeat the transaction before contacting the company or bank.
14. Invoice and receipt
After successful payment, clients can:
- Download the receipt.
- Download the invoice.
- View the transaction number.
- See service details.
- Review the fee breakdown.
- View payment status.
A receipt does not mean that a government approval has been issued; it confirms receipt of payment.
15. The investor journey
The investor journey displays the order's execution stages in an organised way.
Stages may include:
- Order received.
- Data being reviewed.
- Awaiting client documents.
- Documents being prepared.
- File ready for submission.
- Application submitted to the competent authority.
- Application under review.
- Additional requirements identified.
- Requirements completed.
- Approval or result issued.
- Documents delivered.
- Transition to operations or the next service.
The displayed timeframe is an estimate and may change depending on the competent authority and document completeness.
16. Notifications and correspondence
Clients may receive notifications about:
- Missing documents.
- Acceptance or rejection of a document.
- A payment due.
- An appointment or meeting.
- An order status update.
- An additional government requirement.
- A result being issued.
- A document or service expiring.
- Order completion.
Notifications are sent through the client portal, email, telephone or WhatsApp according to the client's details and preferences.
17. Browsing investment opportunities
Investors can browse opportunities by:
- Sector.
- Location.
- Investment value.
- Minimum participation.
- Investment type.
- Project stage.
- Risk level.
- Availability.
An opportunity card may include:
- Project name.
- Activity description.
- Location.
- Investment value.
- Proposed investment structure.
- Available documents.
- Target returns supplied by the opportunity owner.
- Key risks and conditions.
- Reservation or service fees.
- Next steps.
18. Expressing interest in an opportunity
To submit an expression of interest:
- Sign in.
- Open the opportunity page.
- Read the information and investment notice.
- Select Submit an expression of interest.
- Specify the anticipated investment amount.
- Answer the required questions.
- Agree to share contact details where needed.
- Submit the request.
The GPI Oman team reviews the request and contacts the investor about the next step.
19. Saving and comparing opportunities
Investors can:
- Add an opportunity to favourites.
- Remove an opportunity from favourites.
- Compare opportunities.
- Request additional information.
- Follow opportunities in which they have expressed interest.
- View the status of their expression of interest.
Saving an opportunity or requesting information does not reserve it or guarantee continued availability.
20. Reserving an investment opportunity
If reservations are available, investors should review the following before paying:
- Reservation amount.
- Beneficiary.
- Reservation period.
- Refund terms.
- Required documents.
- Whether the reservation amount is deducted from the final price.
- Steps following payment.
Payment of service or reservation fees does not automatically confer ownership of a share, property or asset.
The principal investment amount is paid to the party specified in the contract, an escrow account or a licensed entity, and not to GPI Oman unless under an agreement and an approved legal mechanism.
21. Due diligence
Before making an investment decision, investors are advised to request:
- Legal due diligence.
- Financial and accounting due diligence.
- Tax due diligence.
- Review of contracts and licences.
- Independent valuation.
- Feasibility study.
- Technical or engineering review.
GPI Oman can coordinate these services under a separate quotation.
22. Submitting an investment opportunity
A project owner can submit an opportunity for display on the platform by:
- Creating an account.
- Selecting Add your investment opportunity.
- Entering company details.
- Describing the project.
- Specifying the investment value.
- Explaining the investment structure.
- Uploading registration, licences and documents.
- Disclosing risks and obligations.
- Submitting the opportunity for review.
An opportunity is not published automatically. The company may request more information, reject it or suspend it.
23. Browsing properties
Investors can search for properties by:
- City or area.
- Property type.
- Price.
- Number of rooms.
- Ownership type.
- Handover status.
- Payment plan.
- Eligibility for ownership by non-Omanis.
Review the developer, property, contract, location and payment plan before deciding to buy.
24. Requesting property information
To request information:
- Open the property card.
- Review the description, photographs and price.
- Select Register your interest.
- Enter your details and budget.
- Choose a contact method.
- Submit the request.
GPI Oman forwards the request to the listing provider or coordinates communication according to the nature of the service.
25. Developer subscriptions
A developer or real estate company can choose:
Basic subscription
- Display up to 5 properties.
- Organised property cards.
- Receive expressions of interest.
- Appear within the specified location or category.
Premium subscription
- Display up to 25 properties.
- Organised project pages.
- Featured visibility as agreed.
- Receive investor enquiries.
- Additional tools and reports according to the package.
A subscription does not guarantee a particular number of clients or sales.
26. Requesting cancellation
To request cancellation of a service:
- Open the order in the client portal.
- Select Request cancellation if the option is available.
- Enter the reason for cancellation.
- Review the completed stage.
- Submit the request.
You can also send the request to:

- Reason for cancellation.
- Payment details.
Stopping replies or failing to provide documents does not constitute a formal cancellation request.
27. Requesting a refund
After receiving a cancellation request, the company reviews:
- Fees for the completed stage.
- Government fees paid.
- Third-party costs.
- Transfer or payment gateway fees.
- Unused balance.
The client is shown a settlement statement and any amount due.
Approved refunds are processed within 14 working days. The bank may need additional time to display the amount.
28. Making a complaint
To make a complaint:
- Open Support or Complaints.
- Select the related order.
- Explain the problem clearly.
- Attach documents or proof of payment.
- Specify the action requested.
- Submit the complaint.
Keep the complaint number for follow-up.
29. Protecting your account and data
To keep your account secure:
- Use a strong password.
- Do not share verification codes.
- Do not send card details by WhatsApp or email.
- Make sure you are using the gpioman.com domain.
- Sign out of shared devices.
- Review transactions regularly.
- Tell the company immediately about any suspicious activity.
- Do not upload unrequested documents.
GPI Oman does not ask clients for their full password.

Frequently asked questions
Is creating an account free?
Creating an account is free unless the registration page states otherwise. Services and consultations are charged at the price shown before ordering.
Does payment guarantee commercial registration or a visa?
No. Payment enables the service to begin; the final decision belongs to the competent authority.
Can government fees be refunded?
Government fees are not refundable once actually paid, unless the government body returns them.
Does GPI Oman guarantee a bank account will be opened?
No. The company helps prepare the file and coordinate the process, but the decision remains with the bank.
Are investment opportunities guaranteed?
No. The opportunities displayed involve risks. Investors should carry out legal, financial and technical due diligence before investing.
Does paying a reservation fee mean I own the opportunity?
No. Payment confirms a reservation or service request under the specified terms. Ownership transfers only through the required contract, registration and legal procedures.
How do I check my order status?
Through the client portal, investor journey and notifications sent to your registered contact details.
What should I do if I have not received a receipt?
Check your spam folder, then review the Payments section of your account or contact support with the transaction number.
